I am about to move to the Schaumburg-Hoffman Estates area and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on any apartment complexes to look at as a place to live. Thanks

I have lived in the area for about 5 1/2 years (apartment complex for 3 1/2 of them).
I lived in Avalon at Poplar Creek a couple years ago. They were OK. They are pretty close to the Section 8 apartment complexes though.
Currently at Barrington Lakes. Out of all of the ones we have looked at over the time we've been here these were the best by far. Easy access to the expressway, good fitness center/pool/clubhouse, and they have been in the process of remodeling all of the units (removing carpet, changing countertops, etc).
