Anyone pick up Final Fantasy XIII? vol. dopeness

Picked it up today been playing since 6....this game is 

Not a RPG fan but I stopped playing Final Fantasy at VIII but XIII is really getting me back into the genre!

This make me think that the game is sub par.

Non RPG fans tend to abhor great RPG games.
