And I always thought finance was supposed to be straight forward...

I'm starting out as an economics major but I really do not want to work in the traditional finance/banking sector.
I feel as if I would be working for the enemy. "Green collar"/ green jobs and development is the route I want to go but even these businesses
ultimately rely on the larger institutions for investments (even though the government should be on this already with interest rates the way they are).

Basically we're seeing the fruits of an unsustainable model and I'm not sure what more additional proof the free market zealots need.
