Are OG Air Jordans comfortable to wear?

Hey guys,
I’m planning to buy a pair of white red 12s from 1997 because i heard nice things about the materials but I’m wondering whether they are comfortable to wear (comparing to today’s retros and retros in early 2000s). You guys can also share about the comfort of other jordans in here just for perspective.

I'm telling you what I know. I have several OG 12s that I was still wearing in the late 2000s, and the zoom unit deteriorated and collapsed in every single one of them. They are wearable, but the midsole is like a brick.

There's also the risk of the outsole coming unglued.

If it's top loaded like the retro 12 is, yeah it's possible. I believe it is top loaded, but I'm not 100% sure.

Honestly I don't think it would be worth it. Original was awesome in comfort. At one time. I personally wouldn't wear an original 12 knowing how they can separate.

I've seen a couple of restorers on IG make some replacements.
