So uh, how was this allowed?
The ball is in-bounded.
Kevin Durant tiptoes along the half-court line, whether he establishes possession or not isn't relevant because...
They called a backcourt violation.
And then they overturned it?
And just allowed OKC to in-bound the ball again, and KD scores a pivotal two points?
Wait what?
Maybe I'm just the only one, maybe I'm just not that familiar with the rules, but how in the hell do you call a violation like that, and overturn it?
It'd be like calling a foul on someone, saying whoops my bad, and then just resetting the clock and put the ball back in play.
I'm not that mad, I'm not at all, but if that happened to my team? In an elimination game? In the fourth quarter with less than two remaining? I'd be heated.
It's not the first time the Nuggets got screwed out of a call late in a game either (Game 1).
So am I just missing something, or was this MAD sketchy?
