I've always wanted to learn to play the piano and I guess getting a keyboard would be a good place to start right? But anyway, I got a job now and I can start saving money. Any specific brands to look out for. I'm open to any tips/advice. Thanks.

since your a beg., check on craigslist for something inexpensive. should find something good

^wut.
OP do you have a Guitar Center or something where you can physically go in and try things out and ask questions?

Get a cheap casio or yamaha. They'll have sounds for u to practice with and should also double as midi controllers for when u ready to play some keys on one of my tracks.

I got a M-Audio Key Rig 49 USB MIDI Controller for sale. Been used less than five times, still got the box and all the original packaging.

Great for beginners, $125-$150 retail. I'm tryin to get $65 for it.
