I understand where the h.a.t.e. comes from this scene, bc on all accounts its just wrong, which is emphasized by the woman's reaction to his gift to her...

but there is something comical about it bc most guys would never make this request, yet it makes you realize there are some $%#heads who have done this. Wellat least the actors directors and crew must have had fun with it.
