Autotune V.S. Doubles..

A while back i put up a song i made. Some people liked it and some didn't. But most the criticism came from the use of Auto-tune, not lyrics, delivery, orflow.

Some people said Autotune is unoriginal, played out, or just lame.

But I was wondering if you think that it might become apart of hip hop like Doubles and ad-libs have. Doubles and ad-libs are as un-natural as Auto-tune andare in practically every song.


So apart from your prejudices on it, what you think...

well basically its like your natural voice on steroids. I've seen some dudes lower the pitch of their voice to make it sound deeper. Is that cheating?
