Thank you to all who came by the store last night for our opening party. We apologize, but due to extenuating circumstances we were unable to process any sale transactions. Nonetheless, the show still went on. Hope everyone enjoyed themselves because we know we did. Special thank you to Prolific Djs and Head Hunters B-boy Crew for their performances. Thank you Abel G. for the dope live art. And last but mos def not least, thank you to all our family and friends, old and new, for your love and support.

Not to leave you empty handed and to answer some of the posts above, here are some pictures from the event. Dont forget to keep checking back as the store continues to evolve! Enjoy!

Maybe cuz you said a remark about SJ, that's why those who got offended are from SJ, duhhh. If I made a rude comment about Alameda, wouldn't all the folks from Alameda get mad too? Common sense.

^Btw, who are you? Dennis is my boy, I've been knowing him. Where have I met you before?

if you said something rude about alameda, we might have some problems.

My point exactly, lol but it's all good. I'm not trying to make a big deal out of this, I just wanted to point out that you shouldn't generalize a population (ie. San Jose) like that because it might offend people. I got offended, but I don't live in San Jose, I consider it my second home though. You should just watch what you say, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't go up to a group of people from San Jose and state what you said or even go to the boutiques and say that to the owners/employees/shoppers. And about your statement on the uprising of boutiques, I'm all for it. I support most of the streetwear brands and I'm glad that the whole thing is growing.

Besides the point, I'm glad that the opening went well. That's koo you had HH break for yall, they are some koo cats. In addition, is there a contact number for the shop as well as store hours? Thanks.

The fact that so many have opened up in the last year is surprising since boutiques have been around for such a long time and only now are they sprouting in the south bay.

to grow, develop, and change but it all happens so late. Sure, there are boutiques popping up all over but as far as the bay area goes, they have been around forever! In Alameda of all places we had our own street wear boutique open in 1993. Stores on haight have been around for ages.

Streetwear has recently died out/down along with sb's and now all these new shops are starting to open in the south bay. A lot of things catch on very late, which is why I mentioned played.

Common sense? You can talk about Alameda all you like, it wouldnt bother me one bit. Why would anyone be affected by someone elses opinion of their area?

I guess...Because it's my area, I was born and raised here and you just didn't make a comment about the area, you made a comment about the people too. It's your opinion, however it is somewhat offensive, that's why some people might be affected by it. If my opinion is that people from a certain city are ghetto, wouldn't some people find it offensive? My point exactly. Enough discussion, end of story. Btw, what's your name and how do you know Dennis? Where have I met you?

In other news, I was able to visit the shop today, however it wasn't open. Apparently San Jose officials came in and gave it a no go. They're still undergoing construction. I like the brands they got (many of which you can't find in the South Bay) and hope it'll open this week. Phuong is a cool girl and I wish the best to her. She's a San Jose native and extremely supportive of the local scene/talent (artists, b-boys, dancers, DJ's, etc.).
