Being up a bunch of money in blackjack and then giving it back unappreciation.

Just got back from vegas a few days ago. I was playing blackjack and got up to $400 in the positive. I quit for the day, but got that itch to play again thelast day. I ended up going home with $110 in the positive instead of $400.

I felt the same way, I had nothing to do at the time so I wanted to play some more. Blackjack is not 50/50 so you have to be lucky and win thehands where you bet bigger. If you play long enough you will lose more hands than you win. In vegas they have plenty of things to try to get people to keepplayin, from the half naked dealers to the free drinks.

I would have just took $100 and used that to gamble and kept $300 in my pocket. But that's just me...

thats was i was thinking, but greed got me. i went from being up 275 one day to being up 400 the next. i felt red hot and then i got delt a few bad hands and ithought it would change but it never did.

i can believe it, i saw an old asian man lose 400 bucks in about 30 sec. I didnt feel quite as bad after I saw that. Its just the nature of thebusiness when it comes to gambling. So i cant beat myself up about it, at least i went home in the positive.

When i got up really high i started betting smaller. If you feel like your streak is over, its best to stop. Lock your money in your room if youhave to. I will prob do that next time. The thing about blackjack is you got to bet big to win big. you can come down just as fast or faster than you wentup. Your lucky if you go up at all.

I'm more of a poker guy so I just try to play hand to hand. Whether I've won or lost the last several hands I'll play my handaccording to how good the cards are (or how good/bad the other players are)

Try leaving the casino one day being up around $800 after coming in there with only $100 and then getting greedy and going back the next day and losing all ofthat PLUS the hundred you had the day before! I was SICK!

you can have the slots, i never win with those. you have the best chance of winning with craps and blackjack. Roulette will kill u too, never playit more than a couple times.

man it happens, at least you left with some money in your pocket i have lost my fair share after being up a nice amount and then got the itch and went and gaveit all back to the casino, the way i look at it now is when i win, that money its my money not money i came up at the casino. the it makes you think twiceabout it. i know a lot of people try to make themselves feel better by saying well its money i came up, but thats what you worked for it, how ever you look atit you hustled for that money.
