Best Modem to Cop for Cable internet? Vol.8 bucks a month to lease smh Comcast & Charter

I`m moving and want to cop a modem so we dont have to pay extra to lease. Whats the best modem for COmcast? We are gonna do either the 25mbs or 50mbs package. Is the 50mbs even worth it? All I do is netflix, everyone else just surfs the web. I might cop a PS4 in the future when the price goes down, but even then I`m not a gamer. I was looking at some Motorola Surfboards on Ebay.

yea I was looking at that. Seems it would be good long term since it supports up to 170mbps down and 1 something up even though I`ll never see those speeds.

yeah make sure you get a docsis 3.0 modem if your're going to pay for speeds above 15 megs. the one your're looking at is one of the better ones. if you're going to need a router dont skimp on that either, a good router can make all the difference between your internet being reliable or not.
