some from the past that young cats may not remember.

gerald wilkins, mark price, nate mcmillan, steve kerr, vernon maxwell, uncle cliff, toni kukoc, cedric ceballos, pj brown.

now not all of these guys may be all-stars, but either had good seasons, or were a vital part to contending teams.

two others from the 80's, that maybe some of the young kids haven't even heard of are drazen petrovic, picked in the THIRD round in 1986. and dino radja who was picked by the celts in 89 in the second round.

petrovic lost his life in the prime of his nba career. he was a good scorer and a great shooter, maybe the best european born player to come to the nba. was inducted into the HOF in 2002.

radja had a few good years for the celts. putting up 17 ppg and 8 rpg over four years. was to be shipped to the 76ers for clarence weatherspoon, but failed a physical and went back overseas.

Gilbert Areneas and NIck van Exel were one of the greatest second rounders ever.

Y'all already named most of the big names that were 2nd round picks.

From this years draft... Mario Chalmers and CD-R have potentials to be that 2nd round superstar.

I would have to agree on Monta Ellis. Dude is pretty much the face of the Warriors now that Boom is gone.

miracle is going to be a solid pg, and maybe a starter, but neither is going to be a superstar.

cdr had all kinds of trouble in predraft, which is why he slipped to the 2nd round in the first place.
