I was headed to The Palm tonight, supposed to be good.

DC has a lot of good restaurants as does Old Town Alexandria, The National Harbor and Arlington.

exactly...and it's sister spot Cactus Cantina isn't about !!#* either, unless you want to drink all day and people watch (which is awesome) don;t go for the food
