Best smart phone camera

I have an iPhone X and am fed up with the issues it has software based and the poor camera quality allowing dirt to enter the lens and camera quality is piss poor.

I am either going back to a 7 or switching to an android

Any of you have the new android phones?
Which camera do u like more?
The huawei mate 20 pro looks bonkers with three rear cameras. What are your thoughts?

What Iphone X camera issues?

Phone cameras have a ceiling, if you want better pictures that an Iphone X/8 Plus cant give then just get a DSLR or a better point and shoot camera.

Any other phone camera is going to be basically a lateral move.

iirc there was a sony phone a few years back that was basically a camera with a phone in it. that was better than anything out for that time. i know the current sony phones take great video. xiaomi and nokia also make phones with good cameras.
