Better or worse off with 1 universal worldwide government?

Would we better or worse off if we had a single unified worldwide government? Nothing really changes operationally for countries except that they give stop managing these four areas and it’d done by this universal world government body.

Basic human rights laws
Human population laws (environment etc)
Worldwide security (including nuclear arsenal)
Migration between countries
Currency (one worldwide currency)

Countries wouldn’t own this anymore and it’d be managed through a country by country tax that is managed by this separate body.

As with all forms of govt, the problem is administration. You have 1 govt which will inevitably become corrupt/tyrannical and then theres no escape.
