My predictions...

Baylor over NU
Texas over CU
Iowa St. over Okie St.
A&M over Tech

KU over Baylor
Texas over K State
OU over Iowa St.
Mizzou over A&M

KU over Texas
OU over Mizzou

and...as much as I don't wanna say it...

OU over KU

I just don't think we can beat em twice...and they'll have Blake Griffin.
 
I'm really worried about the A&M/Tech matchup for some reason. It's tough to beat a team 3 times in one season...

I really hope we beat Tech and Mizzou again though. I want another shot at OU.

I don't want to but I will agree with almost all of these picks. And I think that the Championship game will be a real dandy.
 
If Texas makes it past Colorado, I don't even want to see what Clemente is going to do them. Tore us up last time.

Should be fun.
 
blake griffin can be the difference maker this season but the only thing limiting this years squad is youth.

this year's ku squad in a year is better than this year's okla. they're just too young this season.

but think they've got a decent chance this year as well.

aldridge is a double double guy and he should give griffin all he can handle down on the block.

he also has a sleight height and length advantage over griffin, he's mobile enough, and more importantly he's got 5 fouls to give.

the morris' should chip in in that department as well.

the also jayhawks have more talent on the perimter overall and their best wings should be able handle warren well enough.

all this is IF these 2 teams meet in the fnals which is no guarantee.

No. I had the upset in my predictions, but for some reason didn't post 'em the other day when I was going through them.

And Baylor has a starting 5 and a sixth man, not a squad. Their depth past the sixth man is

Dexter Pittman is starting to become a force. A good offseason with some conditioning work, and he'll be damn near unstoppable next year.
 
this year's ku squad in a year is better than this year's okla. they're just too young this season.

Dexter Pittman is a 20/10 guy if he can continue to get in better shape and play major minutes next year...

Can't understand for the life of me why Oklahoma isn't getting Blake touches... Ain't any reason for him to have 7 shots at this point in thegame...
 
Travis Ford was a great hire.

Give him 2-3 years...and they'll be right there with Kansas, Oklahoma, etc.

The class next year is solid... I know for sure both the Duncanville boys and Raymond Penn can flat out play... Karron Johnson is a Top 50 guy...
