Never forget watching MTV and Kurt Loder coming on saying the unthinkable. I was in Queens at the time and it was straight pandemonium, I couldn't even imagine what was going on in Brooklyn. 20 years feels like yesterday, wow.
The cover is wack IMO. I was kinda hoping the cover would be like an old personal pic of them we never seen before. Man 20 years was so long ago but I still remember it clearly waking up to the news that he passed. It's baffling that they still can't find his killer
^Hell yeah. I remember waking up for school and my mom being on the phone talking to my uncle saying he got hit.
laws don't give a damn about who killed a rapper. they probably did the minimum investigation then hit up a happy hour.
Biggie smalls is the illest. There will never be another BIG. I mean people to this day not seeing what he did 2 decades ago. I remember when canibus dissed LL and said "the greatest rapper of all time died on March 9th/God bless his soul, Rest In Peace kid/it's because of him now at least I know what beef is". Had me in my feels that day. To this day no other rapper has made my face contort the way he does. I swear every March 9th sucks. I can't even imagine what Brooklyn felt like that day. RIP Big, you're always missed.
