Bigscreen Greenscreen vol. Not what you think it is (VIDEO)

Seems pretty obvious when you think about it, considering TV shows dont have movie budgets, so they cant be shutting down whole areas of a city to film everyweek. But They do make them seem very realistic. I would have never guessed without over thinking it before seeing this.

Pretty interesting. Didnt realize the scope of this. Hollywood has really turned into the Magic wand. All the computer guys are making stupid bank.

I wish I never watched that.

I will never look at The Wire the same.

yea some of that surprised me, other stuff not so much. i know quite a few people in the industry and i've seen some amazing stuff done with green screenbut i guess i didnt quite grasp that pretty much everything we see is shot on it.

Its also amazing how in tune the characters are. Like they only see green screen but you would think they are really in the location.

Two different industries, two different R&D teams. Here let me give you an equivalent of what you just did: "JAPAN..SO FAR AHEAD THE REST OF THE WORLDWITH TECHNOLOGY .... YET JAPANESE PORNOS STILL SUCK"

that's pretty interesting.

i knew they used a lot of green screens for movies, but didn't know they were commonplace in TV shows
