I think there are several sites to redeem points too. I went to a wrong one and couldn't find the link for a gift card I wanted to redeem.

AMEX just sent me a 'buy one ticket, get one free' yesterday for domestic flying. Of course certain rules apply, ie dates, time, etc. but if you cantake advantage of this deal, your yearly fee is basically waived.

Yeah, I used to get good rewards from them, like $500 gift cards at Bloomingdales or Saks.

I just stopped using it because I make a lot of small purchases and most small stores and restaurants doesn't accept AMEX anymore.
It was just easier to have it all in one card so I just have my AMEX for back-up.

Have had the chance to hold 3-4 in person. The metal allow these things are made of make them interesting to get through CC readers. All the peep'swho've had them I've encountered were really humble guys. Kudos to them.

one time....I bought a camera for my sister... started making funny noises like it was going to break(but still worked) it was no longer covered under the MFTRwarranty, but since I bought it with my AMEX Gold, they double the warranty period. I just called up AMEX, told em the camera was making noises and wasprobably GOING to break.. They credited me back the full purchase price.

true, i dont care about rewards except cash back but they are so dope customer service-wise. especially when dealing with fraud/id theft.
