I have stuck with a clean haircut for 3 years now mainly because my current job requires it. Before I got this job, which was 3 years ago, I would often cycle through short haircut, short fro & medium fro. I feel like if it wasn't for this job I would have probably ventured into the realm of dread heads because it's a style I've always wanted to try.
Speaking of haircuts, decided to go into a barbershop for the first time in years and was shocked to see somebody still cutting hair for the cheap. Dude gave me a nice fade w/ taper on the sides and back for $12. The did leave a couple scratches from lining up my corners, but I couldn't really complain about that.

For me, an overly crisp line ruins the cut. I don't like it when barbers break out the razor. It ain't that serious fam. That **** gon be redundant in days

I always wondered this also. I think I depends on how course your hair is. If it’s 4c then I say get it tapered as crisp as you can. If your hair is softer and straighter go with a natural looking tape.

Makes a lot of sense... I have a few homies who when I see them I'm like "damn that's a fresh lineup and they'll be like man I haven't even gotten a lineup lol.. everybody's hair it's different though so you're right...

Don't quote me but I think that s-curl 360 has Petroleum in it and that's not really good for your hair.. well I know for sure it wasn't for mine it used to dry my scalp out but if you've had no problems with it then that's cool.. I currently use shea moisture products and they work pretty well for me...

All good, I think I read somewhere on here pomade in general isn't really good for your hair.
Seemed pretty reputable in the wave community though and wouldn't be used everyday so I picked it up. I'll probably see how it does for me soon so I can work on my crown area cause its trash right now lol

Lol I know..it's a natural pomade and they have a smooth butter version and a wolfing version which is thicker for if you're growing your hair out for a bit before you cut it.. they have some people on YouTube doing reviews for it so you can check that out before you decide to purchase some..I'll check it out too. Honestly I think I’ve had 4 cuts my entire life. Afro, bald fade during youth, ceaser with the waves pretty much from high school until two months ago when I finally balded the whole thing.
A clean cut is a must tho, I haven’t gone more than two weeks without a cut/edge since high school for sure.
