The best aspect of this film to me, is the subject itself. So much of our history books stops after the 60's. The movement of the post civil rights as it is commonly called, always peaked my curiosity. We had a generation of blacks who were more educated than blacks today. Just look at the the college enrollment rates for blacks in the late 70's/80's compared to today.
