M3 will be more fun to drive, more power quicker acceleration and personally I like the design. Never realy like the new 5 series. But the 545 is hands down acomfy car. Id go for the m3 though.

2 different animals. If you're looking at a 5 don't even think about a 545i, they're dated and already phased out consider an 07 550 sincethey're the top of the line of 5 series or go with the 535i for the turbo i6

(Some people including me like the turbo more than the V (My choicewould be the e92 335i, best of both worlds)
