Word. I got so heated once they ruled they ruled the replay of DWill's last shot in regulation inconclusive. I'm just hoping they don't get matched up with the Bulls again in the playoffs. That triple OT game had me feelin' some type of way (just so happened to be on my birthday too).
Well this year we actually beat good teams instead of just destroying under .500 teams like last year. This year we don't have the fundamental flaw of playing Gerald Wallace and Reggie Evans 30+ mpg which allowed the Bulls to thoroughly pack the paint and ignore both of them. This year we have a coach that uses logic and preaches ball movement. Last year we had an incompetent coach stuck in the 90s and played a ton of isolation basketball. Lastly, this year we're legitimately 9-10 deep (with 3 major difference makers on the bench). Last year we were playing Jerry Stackhouse and Marshon Brooks in the playoffs. Our record is worse but since the new year (where we made fundamental changes to our philosophy) this team has been worlds better than last years. All of this is without mentioning the heart and clutchness Pierce and KG bring to the table.
Great to see KG back on the floor. I definitely feel the same as you guys regarding this team versus last year's team. Can't wait until the playoffs start.
