Picked up these older looking nike air’s from goodwill. The barcode on the inside is not giving me any leads and to further confuse things, the shoe has a patch inside of the tongue. The patch reads ‘Air Althea Triax’ which is also giving me no leads. Are these even a real nike shoe???

I'm coming up dry too (searched the SKU, searched the name you say it has on the back of the tongue, then searched for Nike runners from 98 and 99 going off the production date.)

I can't imagine it not being a real shoe; Nike's old obscure shoes are just very poorly indexed on the internet. The US 9.5N/UK 7 tells me that it was a women's shoe but that's all I got.

Ummm.., this is supposed to be Air Althea Triax (wmns) released in 2000 and it’s different from yours.

And here’s another colorway of same Althea Triax (it says Triax 3!!) whose production date is 8/10/2001.

Considering that yours were manufactured on 9/11/1998, all I can guess is yours should be Althea Triax 1 or 2.
And as Gordonson mentions that, this is supposed to be womens shoe for sure. Runner’s World can back that up too. (No pix tho.)

That’s more information than I could infer, thanks!
