one of those two. He aint putting up those numbers against those 2 teams in a row. If Orlando cant stop him, Portland will.

Portland isn't stopping anybody on the road, let alone LBJ. I'd say Orlando is the best bet.

The record for most triple-doubles in a row is 9 by Wilt.

sorry, didn't know how to align the table properly. (if you want to know how to read the first game .. 21 pts, 12 reb, 12 ast, 3 steals 0 blocks, 6turnovers) . but this is the original #23's 88-89 stats where he strung 7 triple doubles in a row, 10 out of 11 games, 12 out of 15 overall from games66-80 in the same season. however, he did lose 8 out of a possible 15 games though.. but regardless, those stats are appreciated.

another note.. he has 29 career triple doubles, and 16 of them came from this one season

i doubt he will get it tonight. unless he is blatantly going for his stats, which is really not out of the question for Lebron.

How you gonna create a thread asking this when he isn't even halfway there? Like someone creating one of those "can they beat 72-10" threads acouple of weeks into the season when some team goes 17-1 or something.

Anyway, man, that season by MJ was completely nuts. The most impressive season from a purely statistical point of view ever, taking what era it took place ininto consideration. It's just weird that he averaged both 8 rebounds and 8 assists that year but never averaged either 7 assists or 7 rebounds in any ofhis seasons before or after. And that more than a half of his career triple doubles came in that one season. MJ had some outburst seasons throughout hiscareer, like in 95-96 when he was actually one of the best outside shooters in the game. That's why he's the GOAT (with Magic).

Funny thing is, when someone gets to hot start 17-1 or 20-2, Analyst start building the hype for a 72-10 season
