Which place is the better party spot? A friend of mine is looking to have his bachelor party at either Cancun or Cabo.

If money isn't an option, this shouldn't even be up for debate. Cabo by a mile.
If you're strapped for cash, which you shouldn't be considering it's a bachelor party not a birthday party, consider Cancun. It's not nearly asnice, not as fun IMO, and got kinda beat up after the hurricanes, and it must suck for people of your age (I assume you're a little older) because it'smainly HS seniors and college kids, so it might be too young for your crowd.

That's what I hear about Cabo & Cancun...Cabo is more grown folks, while Cancun is High Schoolers & College kids.

Cabo NO DOUBT about it.
My cousins had a time share and invited me along.. one of the best times of my life!
They had a row of clubs a taxi ride away from our strip.. I went when I was 18 so you know it went down.

Cabo is real scenic, and less commercialized like cancun. Cabo seemed to have more older people and Cancun has younger people. For a bachelor party I would goto Cabo because its more relaxed and theirs not drunk kids wildin everywhere but their is clubs and stuff to party at. If your past college age I would go toCabo.

Went to Cancun last year and it seemed to be a nexus of lewd conduct, horny college students, etc with a few backpackers thrown in.

Sounds like Cabo is where its at. Is Cabo's clubs/bars spread out or are they concentrated in one area like in Cancun?

Downtown Cabo has a bunch, but there's a few more outside the main drag. More concentrated than Cancun I'd say.

I went to that place last july, it was awesome, just soo nice.

What I would do is go out to the clubs they've got their e.g. Cabo Wabo, El Squid Roe, and the Zoo are all fun and easy to find.
Don't drink any local water and avoid ice when u get mixed drinks. On that note bring like pepto or something anti-diarrhea just incase.
Also, bring some sort of bug repellent. Other then that relax and see what you resorts concierge service offers.

Ahh, Cabo Wabo is mostly the older folks, but I saw younger people too.
I didn't see anyone over 30 in The Zoo and El Squid Roe.
