On a new vehicle you shouldnt be paying more than half that. Around 5/6% for "average" credit. Once ur credits right new vehicles should be 4% max. Used 6% max. Ballpark figures obv but jus calculate your finance charges on 10% of a 40k vehicle... couldnt be me
