i have a 2000 lexus es300 and i just got a new transmission last month. a little after the transmission change, i noticed a problem: normally, when i'm accelerating from 0-60, the car will shift about 3 gears (i think). the RPM needle stays between 1 and 2 up until 40, and then gets upto about 2 - 2.5 when i hit 60mph. however, recently i noticed that when i accelerate, it'll only shift 2 gears and the engine will be at 3RPM and no matter how fast i go from there, it willnot shift gears and the RPM won't go down. i know this might not sound too clear, but anyone have any idea?
