Carolina Panthers @ N.Y. Giants....1pm

Pathetic performance yesterday....we don't deserve to be in the playoffs anyway....Our damn defense needs to get more physical in the off season...It waspathetic to watch basically this whole year...Our secondary is horrible even when we have everyone healthy
Osi on his last legs as a Giant?
[h5]Osi Umenyiora | Giants[/h5]

New York Giants DE Osi Umenyiora has seen his playing time take a nosedive over the last month, and he's now just a pass-rushing specialist. As you might imagine, he's not happy. "What did I play, five snaps today?" he wondered aloud to the gathered press after Sunday's beatdown by the Panthers. "I don't know, I don't know what happened. I thought I was the problem," he added sarcastically.

"It's an unbelievable situation, man," he continued. "Last game at Giants Stadium, probably as a Giant, just the way everything has unfolded has been unbelievable." There has been chatter since earlier this month that Osi might be done with Big Blue, and this last set of comments certainly strengthens that idea.

NFC East blogger Matt Mosley reminds us that Osi might not be the only one on a new team next season:

Sheridan likely a goner, too
"At this point, it's hard to imagine Bill Sheridan keeping his job as defensive coordinator. His unit has struggled all season, but the fact that the Giants gave up so many yards on the ground has to be particularly galling. The Giants weren't as physical as the Panthers in this game -- and there's no excuse for that."

Jon Gruden is so overrated. its almost comical.

after the superbowl run where he coached a team built and put together by another coach, he is 45-53 with 2 early departures from the playoffs.

Yall better hope he stays in that MNF booth

If for some reason Carolina decides it's time to part ways with Fox, the Giants better jump at that opportunity before a team like Buffalo decides to throwmoney at him. There's already rumblings that Weis might take the OC job in Buffalo.

Fox owns the Giants except for last season when we were actually a PHYSICAL team.

The lines have been dominated too much, not what I'm used to seeing (it was always the other way around). Can't get pressure even with a blitz.

I'm new to the board, but I'm wondering if you were saying the same thing the past couple of years. How old were you when the Cowboys won their lastplayoff game? Like 5?
