trade you speedy claxton for him?
That's great and all...but you're not going to get anything for him.
I remember a few years ago, there was some dude on NT who was trying to convince anyone who would listen that Larry Hughes was better than Paul Pierce. Atfirst I thought he was being sarcastic, but he was pretty serious. I gotta assume that had to be one of Larry Hughes' relatives.
Anyways, you're right. Larry Hughes is a bum. An overpaid bum. Probably the 2nd dumbest contract I've ever seen since Allan Houston's remarkable$100 million deal with the Knicks.
That bum is right.
But if he can make it back to Washington, he might be of use.
good luck finding someone to take that bum
Good riddance, I'm sick of having to watch him "take over" when Lebron is on the bench, and clank more mid-range jumpers than ANYONE in the NBA.This guy will do everything right, make the right move, go the right direction, cross over perfectly, then either clank a jumper or miss a layup looking for afoul..... and I'm a Pistons fan, so it benefits me, and I STILL cant stand it...
smh at larry
it really looked like he turned the corner in washington, but seriously cavs fans - who is gonna take that contract on?
Thats the damn problem. His play doesnt even warrant HALF that damn contract.
It's all FRICKIN FERRY'S FAULT.
DAMN IDIOT. OVERPAYING FOR HUGHES, Amon Ones, and Old Yeller...SMMFH
good, he sucks, move on .. next thread
Washington doesn't want that bum back, one of the reasons he left is because the Wizards didn't think he was worth that money. It turns out they wereright. No one is taking that contract on.
A swap of bad contracts is about all you'll get for him...There's not a team in the league that will give up any type of value. Maybe the Knicks, butyou've gotta think even Isiah Thomas gets tired of taking on several players with terrible contracts and the exact same skillset at some point.
Sadly, I don't think it really phases him.
New York will take him.
Way too inconsistent and injury prone...
His contract sucks. He doesn't seem to carry intensity. He looks like he's more concerned with his next tattoo than working on his game or stayinghealthy.
He's not a solid, reliable #2. Big Z is clearly the #2 for Cleveland...and that won't be enough. I used to like LH and his mid-range game but he nevercracked into his potential.
to Miami for Smush Parker? yes i know the contracts don't match.
I don't even think I'd want him on the Rockets..
Get him on a running team and he'll be fine. He needs the ball and Bron aint giving it up. It's not like he just forgot how to play.
