Was prepared to pay retail for those joints and my boy (non-sneakerhead) looked at them (on display at the store) and asked why the hell they put a used shoe on display. Retro quality is known to be garbage but these were just flagrant.

Nike/JB were slick with it back then too - the OG colourways circa '03-'09 were poorly made but the retro+ had better materials and build quality. Once the CDPs rolled out in '10 everything across the board was poorly made.
