they don't really teach TV history in school, but a decent knowledge of history should let u know that tv's weren't around that time..

most students today would pass that if they were actually prepared to take that
but most 8th grade tests are a joke now

the question is what percentage of the population could afford to get to the 8th grade back then?

Why is everyone so impressed?

Our society requires specialization and efficiency.

We don't need to know all this frivolous #%+$$+%%.

"Oh, okay. So you don't like to learn? This is why America is doomed.

"

Yup. I don't give a damn about Kansas or covered wagons. I don't need to.

I'd pass.... after the curve.

But yeah, that is one hard test. I'm a lot of us would pass if we were in a class that taught all that material.

lol. the math part is fairly easy, i think most eighth graders today could handle that part. (with the exception of #10 cause we dont need that crap anymorewith stuff like e-banking.)
the LAST section of that exam, a lot of the material is NOW being taught in my GEO 004 class

Now who said you had to be a slave to pick cotton?

My Grandmother and Great Grandmother were not slaves and that didn't stop them from picking 100 pounds of cotton a day in their youth
