I know a lot of you guys are mad about trading away rose but let's be real about this...the Bulls def have things up their sleeves. We are going to get some a few good pieces back someway somehow. Yes Phil pulled a slick one again but this isn't it.

I think by the beginning of the season we will probably have a couple good new pieces and a cool rookie pick, mark my words.

Am I the only one pissed off? I'm seriously thinking about driving to the Berto Center with "Fire Foreman" signs. Clowns man. Freaking clowns.

C'mon fam you're getting too worked up.
I've come to expect nothing from Gar or Pax that way I won't be disappointed when they actually do something. I just think you need a couple days to let it sink in/get over it.
I commend everyone in here for not jumping ship, I'm really upset how some just turned and jumped ship.

You were talking about backgrounds last time, so I'll share mine. I just turned 35. I've been an avid Bulls fans since 88 when my uncle (RIP) used to get all liquored up and take me to his bar to watch the games, till this day I still remember those epic matches against the Cavs, Pistons, and Knicks. I've been fortunate enough to have seen the GOAT MJ, Pip, Rodman, Kukoc, Grant, and all the subsequent teams after the dynasty. I used to really get worked up about losing. People don't realize how serious the fan hood runs. I live and die with my teams, but I refuse to pay for merchandise, tickets, or anything else till ownership puts a viable product for me. Instead I'll waste my money at the bar getting liquored up and cursing out my teams just like my uncle used to.

This team will be better than last year, it's addition by subtraction. We shed a lot of salaries, and turned the keys over to a new generation. Whatever lockeroom division were created are now gone, cause management made they're decision about who's leading the team, whether it's good or bad...we've yet to see. Let Jimmy take the reigns and have all the young guys fall under him. If he continues to act like a nut, then let him cook and get his value up before we flip him. If he matures and handles his leadership role more responsibly then it's a plus. But we can't get down without having played a single minute yet. Besides we have some interesting pieces now.

    RoLo/Felicio
    Taj/Bobby
    Niko/Doug/Dun
    Jimmy/Snell
    Grant/E'Twan/Caldo

I'm down with this but signs must include fire Pax. Oh and they don't practice at Berto anymore. They moved into the advocate center next door. You'd be marching for nothing out there.

I understand moving on from Rose, hurts to do so but it is what it is.

What i dont understand is saying you want to get younger and more athletic but you go out and draft a guy who isnt athletic. Its time to move in from Gar Foreman. If we are going to start over, start over. Move Taj, Niko, and see what you can get for Doug. If Jimmy wasnt on such a good contract id say shop him big time. The fact that Gar said they werent inquiring about a trade for Jimmy is such BS. Front office is such a joke

No point in being halfway way bad.

We're still in talks with Minny for Butler. I think before the 1st a deal will be made.

Exactly!!!! If more people lived with that sentiment we would have a championship caliber (or Reinsdorf would've gave up the team) This is the same owner that said he would trade 6 NBA Championships for one World Series. I'm not giving the Bulls a dime until there are serious changes made in upper management. NT Meetup [IMG]

At some point this to is going to have to adapt to modern times and realize that the turmoil that they think is a prerequisite for a champion doesn't work anymore.

We gave away our team to the Knicks and watch them utilize the players better than we did. We hired a ******* clown for a coach and fired a better one. Now when we are suppose to make moves and properly rebuild, we are too busy trying to fleece teams to make a name for ourselves rather than make logical trades.

Did you hear the offers that were being proposed?

Celtics offered Jae Crowder 3rd and 16th pick for Butler do you think that's good enough? Then Minny offered Rubio and the 5th pick for Butler doesn't make sense when they know we're tryna draft Dunn

I would have pulled the trigger on the Celtics deal. We get a defensive presence in Crowder as well as Dunn, then we would've drafted Valentine and could've grabbed somebody else. As for the Minny deal, I'm sure it could've been tweaked for a different player.

Exactly!!!!! Hoiberg didn't have a clue on how to use D.Rose and Jimmy together. Under Thibs they were developing some chemistry together but they got too impatient now watch Rose ball out in NY and make GarPax look like idiots. :smh:

Who in their sane mind would give up Jae Crowder and Marcus Smart as well as the number 3 pick for Jimmy Butler. I don't even think in 2k you could do that. After all, it's not like this is Crowder of 3 years ago. Dude has made a significant leap, both offensively and defensively.
