because this is quite a random question to ask if it wasn't for homework.

if you're a Christian, you should (hopefully) already understand what this is...if you're not and you're thinking about this i would have to callyou crazy.

Because it's quite clear that this wouldnt be discussed unless it was for homework...

dang i cant even ask questions about god. What has this world become where people wont help other people understand god? So please just help , u might go tohell.

Suffering for belief in Christ, essentially.

If you believe Jesus is the Messiah, Lord, Savior, what have you, you may be persecuted. This has been going on a lot throughout the ages, and still is goingon.

thanks but i thought it was more along the lines of, Jesus taking important things away from you to test you spirit, and if your a non believer he makes yousuffer to open you eyes up to him

Wow, I really hope you aren't Christian because you have a warped idea on the doctrine. How old are you, 14? SMH if you're any older cause you'repretty ignorant to the world.

I think the underlying matter here is faith.

The believer's faith is tested to strengthen the spirit; it may involve having to go without. But everyone, believer and non-believer goes throughrough times throughout their lives. It doesn't mean God loves them any different.

There are many different ways to get the non-believer to Christ, and God attracts them in the way he sees fit, it may very well be through suffering.

But the important thing to remember is that we all go through trials and tribulations, the believer and non-believer. However God chooses to test us hemay.

Job is old testament. What does Jesus have to do with Job? Don't get me started on the fallacy behind the parables in Job. The immanent God shown in Job isinconsistent with the rest of the Bible especially New Testament.
