clear sole or gum sole

I really wanna know why everybody calls the all black foam pros gum sole's im pretty sure they were clear in 97 when they came out can anybody explain ??

they weren't ever completely clear....they had the same sole as the pearl pro's.

Because when they get older they look like a gum sole, sort of obvious...looks better than the piss colored ones

The sole they used on the Binary Blue LWPs are similar. Wished they used that type of sole on foams more often
