This is where it gets technical. I consider the Ginger XVI's and Cherrywood XVI's to be regular models in that series. Sure, they're both "+" models, but there's not a HUGE difference between those two colors and the first two colors released. They're virtually the same shoe minus a couple overlays on the sides.

The XVII+, 18.5, XIXSE, XX3/4, XXIPE, and XX2PE's were all complete re-designs of the upper portion of that particular model.

The lows are up for debate. I consider them to count as part of the series, but for me to say I had a "complete" set, I would need at least the mid version. A perfect example would be the XX lows. Sure, they're part of the series, but they didn't resemble the mids at all!

I like your points but they seem flawed in my eyes. Now I am not doing this to bash you or anything, just trying to get a good debate here in the JB forum. Imo the xvi + should be considered xvi despite their upper being VERY different than the normal xvi. The xvii + look very similar to the xvii, they only havethe extra material in the back. Oh yea they didnt have a strap too, hmm; without the strap they still look almost dead on to the xvii without the strap. The18.5 and 19se seem to look the same as their ogs but without the straps. I actualy prefer the altered models compared to their ogs. The xix and xx low lookNOTHING like the mids or se editions. These would be the trickies imo to distinguish if they should be in their respective families. The xx3/4 looks like alow xx regional and that is what the xx low SHOULD have looked like. The xxi lows look dead on to the mids minus the extra height. The xxi pe take anotherhuge turn from the ogs and look drasticaly different. As for the xx2, the lows arent bad compared to the mids, not as good as the xxi but not as bad as thexix. The xx2 pe actualy arent that off (not counting the city editions). The city editions are horrible and I do not know what to consider them.

Now, the 1.5's, 5.5's, Dub Zeros, Spiz'ikes, and Nu Retros are considered Team shoes to me. They don't belong in the same breath as the flagship models.
Well said.
