Always thought they were saying "5-2" whenever I heard this.

^

for the uninformed:

Hits for Average

Hits for Power

Speed on the basepaths

Good Glove

Good Arm

Carlos Gomez (this year at least)

Adam Jones

Yasiel Puig (so far)

Bryce Harper

Out of these guys who would you pick to start a franchise with? Gonna roll with Trout

Carlos Gonzalez is a colorado product ..... his home/road splits are shocking.

oh how I love when someone just throws out something and they are COMPLETELY wrong, well this year anyways....

Home 39 148 34 43 9 6 9 35 21 40 10 1 .291 .374 .615 .989
Away 36 145 27 45 10 0 12 22 13 43 3 0 .310 .367 .628 .995

looks like he actually has a higher average and more HRs away from Coors

How is he wrong?  You even had to add a disclaimer to the statistics you provided by pointing out that THIS YEAR is the exception.  Never mind that it's only halfway into the season and there is still plenty of time for those numbers to regress back to the mean.

His career splits are alarming.

Mike Trout and no one else matters? Adam Jones and Andrew McCutchen will matter more this season since the Angels won't sniff the playoffs.

I was being facetious.  Although I'm not sure what their respective teams getting into the postseason matters when the discussion is about individual skill sets.  Even still, Trout has a better glove than Jones and is quickly closing the gap in stolen bases between him and McCutchen, with a vastly superior success rate.

There are a lot of guys that can be included in the discussion (Harper, Kemp, Cutch, CarGo) but Trout is leading the pack right now.

Word, I didn't catch that. Trout is the best in the game right now though, I agree.
