What do you mask the shoes with? The overpaint on masking tape took off some of the paint on the shoe. I used some apple barrel paint (hunter green) with acetone, and a sharpie for the mesh. Does textile medium work better to make the paint flexible?

haha wow i actually did the EXACT same thing with my white/green fours a year ago...but yea the green on the midsole eneded up jut peeeling right off but dont worry youl'll get a ton of compliments on the sharpie alone

Do you think if you, wipe the midsole thoroughly with acetone, the paint will stick really good to the midsole and it wont peel?

I think i might redo it, cuz you can take off the paint with acetone.

if you got a dremel. sand down that section that you want to paint, will create a better surface for paint to adhere to the midsole. helps. warning though is that midsole painting is not as durable as uppers painting.
