DC Studios THREAD - GunnVerse Begins - Chapter ONE: Gods & Monsters

it might be connected since the whole universe is practically on a soft reboot of sorts

like SS2 pretty much has the whole cast back minus will  even that jokers a possiblity

as for edward, dont think he needs to bulk up much especially if he isn't going to be the younger batfleck, dude already has a good base, he isn't really super scrawny like his vampire days

Matthew Vaughn Reveals Details of His Failed Superman Trilogy

When Matthew Vaughn and Mark Millar pitched the idea of a trilogy involving the Man of Steel to Warner Bros. way back in 2008, surely they wanted things to end in a different way. Speaking to Polygon, the director revealed some interesting details about his failed Superman trilogy project. According to Vaughn, the first installment in the trilogy would have taken place almost entirely on Krypton. The script would have focused on Jor-El’s attempts to save Krypton from destruction. The iconic DC Comics character would have grown up on his home planet. Then he would have arrived on the Earth after his homeworld blew up, and he would have to deal with “loyalty to both planets”.

Vaughn’s intentions were to recycle some of this storyline on the big screen as soon as he went behind the camera to direct Man of Steel 2, but then things went in a different direction. The movie never made it to the DC Extended Universe, and probably never will. Even though the negotiations with Vaughn to direct Man of Steel 2 didn’t bear fruit, he wouldn’t mind a return to the DC Universe, should the opportunity arise for him to direct a new Superman film.

“It’d be hard to say no,” he concluded.

This trilogy can easily be set in the past, and have Pattinson be the current Batman in movies set in the present. Wouldn't be that hard to age him a little if they wanted to . Ed Norton and Ruffalo don't even resemble one another even a little bit and it worked out .

Honestly there's no reason for DC to trip hard about continuity. Just make cool movies that occasionally allude to other **** in the verse.

I'm not going to question Affleck being replaced by Pattinson in universe for example. It just is what it is. They ****ed up by not keeping Jeremy Irons tho

need dude to focus on giving us another great kingsman after that lackluster golden circle

Matthew Vaughn's scrapped plans for MoS2 dont make any sense as a sequel

He said he wouldve took ideas from his pitch with Millar that was a trilogy and somehow the movie wouldve been mostly on Krypton with Kal growing up there so he'd know more abkut his plm's society and culture.

That gotta be a reboot given what Snyder did with the origin.

Tom King, Ava Durvey New Gods movie>>>>>any batman news.
Gonna be trash with King involved.
