Have you tried apartments.com or even a property management company like de Miranda(DMM)?

^mgmnt companies have been quoting me fees so i'm trying to go the free route if possible. i don't mind putting in the foot work. apts.com, rent.cometc give the myspace angle shots and don't say much about the surrounding communities which is why i made this thread to get some input/insight since idon't frequent these areas quite as often as i'd like.

There's a lot of apartments in Hawthorne you can try.
Like near Leuzinger High School.
