Did anyone see Van Hunt@Black Cat this past Sunday night?

Yeah that was my problem in the past as I'd missed him once or twice because of poor show promotion and then he cancelled another couple area shows as well, hopefully with him being on Blue Note he'll have a lot better label and tour support. Having said that, he played a great set with a killer backup band to boot and showed charisma and emotion that you could feel coming from the stage unlike most of the crap passing for R&B nowadays.

Next time I'll try to be ahead of the curve and I'll announce when he does his next DC/Baltimore area show (that is provided I find out ahead of time, my track record is pretty poor in that department :lol:

1st album was solid... ('Dust' & 'Down here in Hell' are still fresh...)

2nd album was kind of weak.... I wouldn't mind seeing him live though...
