Did Nike mean "Gem" Green?

I've been trying to understand what they could've possibly meant by 'Gym' Green, and after taking a few glances at them...it hit me. Did they mistakenly name them Gym instead of Gem? Gem seems much more apt.

When word of these first dropped on twitter,

Nikestore was saying gem green

....then i had to correct them by saying the box said "gym"

I think it was a mix up that they just ran with

It was intentional I think. You know, its kinda like how there's University Blue, University Red, and etc.. There is also Gym Red and Gym Green and etc..
