did the blackhawks ever wear black jerseys when Roenick and Chelios played for them?

whats up guys,

i could swear the blackhawks had black jerseys when roenick and chelios played for them and im trying to get one. but i cant even find a picture, let alone anactual authentic.
if so, please post pics and anywhere i may be able to find one.
i will be in chi-town july 10-13th.

The black Chicago alternate was introduced in the 1996-97 season.

Chelios was with the team until 1999, while JR left at the end of 1995-96.

So Chris wore them, but Roenick didn't. (Note: The jersey posted in the video of Roenick above is the 75th anniversary jersey, not the black third jersey).

really wanted a roenick one, might have to just work on finding a 92 stanley cup white roenick one for under $400
or maybe just a chelios black one.

this must be a custom, considering the tag at the top isn't a center ice

he didn't ask anything about the 3rd jerseys...he just asked if they wore black, which they both did.
