The world's most famous socialist leader, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez joked earlier this week that Barack Obama was making him look bad. During a speech on the "curse" of capitalism on Tuesday, Chavez said: "Hey, Obama has just nationalized nothing more and nothing less than General Motors. Comrade Obama! Fidel, careful or we are going to end up to his right."

I got fam in Venezuela so they inform me about this dude's bs that he pulls on a daily basis. First, he's supposed to be a die hardsocialist right? Well, while he claims to hate America and their "imperialism", him and members of his party drive around Venezuela in Hummers,Mustangs, and Dodge Chargers

. He's a hypocrite because he claims to hate the U.S. soooo much, yet hedrives around in American made cars everyday. Why is he supporting everything he's supposed to stand against? That brings me to him being a liar. When hewas elected in 1998, he promised all the poor people in the barrios that they'd have better lives and no longer live in poverty. However, it's now 2009and they're still living in their shacks without running water or electricity and crime has even RISEN since his election. Venezuela is one of the mostviolent countries on the planet. The violent crime rate there is through the roof. It's been during his presidency that all this crime has occured. Hehasn't done jack to help those he promised he would help. That now brings me to him being a thief. Instead of using the VAST amount of revenue thatVenezuela pulls in based on oil sales and using that money to help the poor he promised to help, he goes around and buys old, crappy, and outdated weapons fromthe former Soviet Union and Belarus and buys those American made cars. He also buys mansions around the country and also pays out that money to his fellowminions so they can spend it how they please. He's a $+#!#%# moron. He's been romantized by Fidel's bs communist views and inspired by othersocialist scum like Che Guevara and decided to follow in their footsteps. True. But I don't think Obama's intentions are the same as Fidel or Chavez's intentions. I think we should wait before we compareObama's policies to those of Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez.

True. But I don't think Obama's intentions are the same as Fidel or Chavez's intentions. I think we should wait before we compare Obama's policies to those of Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez.

Other than that, policies are similar. When you nationalize something, there is no coming back from that.

When are you going to learn that this isnt LEFT v. RIGHT, Republican v. Democrat? You're the one making it that way.

The Progressive movement infiltrated the Republican party as well just look at Bush I and Bush II . I dont know why people love Obama, but hate Bush, its thesame politician. Bush spent billions and billions and now Obama is spending billions and billions. So what is the difference? Like I said Obama is just doingit with a smile on his face and he's attractive and a good speaker. So was Mussolini and Hitler and look what happended to their failures. The people werestill poor, had high inflation, and everything was nationalized. The only thing these two Tyrants did was install "national pride", great! Theirpeople were still poor and most jobs were in the Gov't. Everything was blamed on the opposition.


Just look at Cuba, 97% of the jobs in Cuba are Gov't jobs. That's a wide economy.
