Foodie Guide to Mickey’s Birthday at Disney Parks

Oh boy, oh boy! It’s our favorite pal’s birthday, and we’re gettin’ ready to celebrate with Mickey-themed eats and treats across the Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts! This November, for one weekend only, we’ve got a TON of specialty items on both coasts to celebrate 90 wonderful years of Mickey Mouse. I’ve put together this Foodie Guide so that you won’t miss out on all of the tasty fun!

In addition, as part of this ear-ful celebration, we’re inviting you to #ShareYourEars on social media! Through November 17, for every public post on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter using that hashtag, Disney will donate US $5 to Make-A-Wish, up to US $2 million, to grant even more wishes. So grab one of these snacks, grab a friend, show off your mouse ears, and help make some wishes come true! For more information on Make-A-Wish and the #ShareYourEars campaign, check out our recent blog with all of the magical details.

And don’t forget, all of these yummy offerings will only be available Nov. 16-18, 2018, at Walt Disney World Resort and Nov. 17-18, 2018, at Disneyland Resort unless otherwise noted. So come on out and pal around with us to celebrate Mickey Mouse!

obligatory pics from the visit last night and yall know its gon be mostly food

best food I ate at the festival this years probably the shrimp and grist with sausage, the macaron if good with peppermint hint and smores frozen chocolate milk are good but could be too sweet for some (so sweet that it almost has a alcoholic hint)

the turkey fries with poutine was good at lamplight too and the holiday cocktail has that good spice and it might be the holiday but they seem to have made it extra strong this time around

eggnog churro at hungry bear was ok, churro is just regular churro with eggnog ice cream, if you like eggnog then it's for you

they cancelled the fireworks because of the wind although by 9:30 there really weren't strong winds anymore and the snowfall was very, VERY underwhelming that its almost comedic to even call it that

not too bad for a holiday season i guess(?)

security line and tram has little to no wait when i got there, so that was somewhat a good indication of crowd not at a max, they didn't even open the top mezanine for hyperion frozen show

gotg was 25m and haunted mansion were 45m which are lower than normal but the other typical long lines were long (60m+ for space and racer, etc...)

also, for festival of holiday food stalls, if your an AP you can buy a pass that gives 8 tickets for $49 which comes out to ~$6 a dish so just get the expensive ones that cost $7-$8 each and you save the most money, they also give you a pin every booth each time you use the pass (i only got 7 because i didn't know i was suppose to get them and the first booth forgot to give me one)

Dam, wssnt it 40 bucks last year? Those buttons are nicer than last years, glad you got to go!

i think it was $40 but only for 6 items, this time around it's 8 but I am not 100% sure

heading down Friday morning with my lady, my sister and my niece should be a good time. Didn’t get a chance to make it out to the holiday decorations last year

ahh damn, that's a big price jump then

i didn't get the pass/voucher last year but wasn't the beverage excluded?

this time beverage are included unless its alcoholic

Ahhh. Then it explains the jump. I don't drink, so I'm not sure, but I don't think you could get alchohol with them last year. I assumed it was just disney doing disney things!

everything livens up at night too so stay as long as you can on both parks

enjoy!

thanks man, first time taking the niece so it should be a blast.

how’s the air quality down there right now?

Concept Art Released for Spider-Man Ride at Disneyland Resort

A few weeks ago, we shared details not yet released on the Marvel themed land coming to Disney California Adventure. Today, we are sharing a piece of concept art Disney has released for the still unannounced Spider-Man shooter attraction.

The Spider-Man ride will reside in the former theater building for “it’s tough to be a bug”, seen re-themed on the left side of the above art. Disney has yet to fully confirm or announce this particular attraction (other than there being a Spider-Man Ride under development) but rumor has it that guests will be able to sling some web along with Spidey come 2020.
