Here until Saturday. Went to the parks on Sun and Mon and had a blast. Quickly learned that getting to the parks at 11 is not the move. :lol: We ended up getting there around 8:30 yesterday and only waited about 30 mins for GOTG and even less for the Incredicoaster. Also managed to snag a FP for RSR later in the day, which was clutch since it had a 170 minute wait. :sick:

Today is a non-park day and we’re trying to figure out something to do. Anything that’s a must see/do within driving distance of DL?

Btw, nighttime in the parks is the GOAT. Such a different atmosphere and way more my speed. :pimp:

damn, so staying at one of the disneyland hotels automatically get you into SW land. try to plan my next trip, but definitely not trying to spend $400 a night for a hotel i’ll only sleep in.

hopefully i can snag entry on the registration when it opens
 
it only gets you in the first few weeks or a month from opening at the end of may, after that its a free for all iirc

i am still not clear if you can register to go in online or you have to be present in the park to do so
 
my coworker put me on Nexx Burger, it's really good? gonna have to try it next time i'm feeling like getting burgers.
a free for all after the initial month opening for Galaxy's Edge? it's gonna be a S show.
was just there with the wife and boy this past sunday for a few hours to grab lunch. we're trying to check off everything on the dining section of disneyland and DCA.

I wonder if Disney gets any residuals off the Doritos sales? Curious about the porch potatoes will they remove you from the rocking chair if you give wrong information on where the bathroom is. I picture some dude been there for 30 years who knows the park better than his house, giving out directions.
 
Not totally related, but love watching this channel to see what Disney had planned at one point.
 
Any chance we get any Fox characters in Disneyland? I would like to see X-men or Deadpool

Had a chilled out day at Huntington Beach. I’m not a huge beach guy, but my wife wasn’t coming to this coast and not seeing the ocean. :lol: Managed to get a Lyft for like $25 one way so we went ahead and did that.

Had lunch at a tourist trap called Ruby’s at the end of the pier—easily the worst food I’ve had in a long *** minute lol. The view was pretty damn spectacular though, so there’s that.

Today at the parks was awesome. My kid had an early appt at the BBBoutique, so we got hella FPs by being there early. Just got done on RSR at night which is so much cooler than during the day. About to hit up Incredicoaster, Soarin’, BTMR and then Space Mountain to end the night. The best part? We’ve got 2 more days in the parks! :pimp: :pimp:
 
sounds like an awesome day, hope the rain helped you guys out with the crowd today but it probably didnt rain too hard there since you were able to get on racer and incredicoasters open

try to catch that world of color show before you leave though since i think fantasmic is still down, if you can spare a few $$$, get that carthay circle res that comes with reservations for world of color, i think its a 3-course meal thats pretty good for ~$75 each

By bringing together the world’s brightest young inventors, the WEB is creating new interfaces that will empower all of us to join the ranks of Earth’s Mightiest.

As I shared with you just a few months ago, Walt Disney Imagineering’s Global Marvel Portfolio is working closely with our partners across Studios and Entertainment to create exciting experiences and attractions where you can join fan-favorite Super Heroes at Disneyland Resort and Disneyland Paris.

One of the best parts of my job is getting to collaborate with a diverse group of talented Imagineers, all pushing to bring this incredible universe to life, in a way that is authentic to this iconic brand. Developing new and innovative technologies, telling new stories and creating experiences that allow our guests to play an active role alongside these extraordinary characters is our core mission.

Today, I’m happy to be able to share more details on an immersive, interactive experience coming to Disney California Adventure park at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney Studios park at Disneyland Paris.

Both parks will feature an exciting new attraction where guests of all ages can join the heroes in action. We are expanding our story universe by creating a new organization, the Worldwide Engineering Brigade, to be our setting for this experience. Though WEB is grounded in classic characters like Peter Parker, it is an organization that we can all be a part of – one that invites us to engage with these iconic heroes like never before.

Besides introducing WEB, we can’t wait to debut a brand-new, cutting-edge interface as part of this fun, interactive attraction. Through a blend of never-before-seen technology and practical effects, guests will get to experience for themselves what it is like to have the abilities of a Super Hero.

This adventure will blend seamlessly into the story of the new lands we’re creating at both Disney California Adventure park and Walt Disney Studios park, where there will be surprises at every turn!

I’m personally most excited to see Spider-Man swinging through these lands in a new suit that you can see now at Walt Disney Studios Park, soon at Disney California Adventure park, and at other locations in the future. We were thrilled to partner with Ryan Meinerding, Head of Visual Development at Marvel Studios, to create this stunning new suit design.

And the feeling is mutual. According to Ryan, “It has been the highlight of my career to design all of Spider-Man’s suits for the most recent films. Bringing him to life through Tony Stark’s capable design aesthetic was a true joy, but working with the Walt Disney Imagineering team to develop a look for Spidey that reflects the innovation of a team of young geniuses really brings him to a new level. And knowing that park guests can get up close to that suit and really take in all the detail the astounding Imagineers packed into it means that we have truly brought a new version of the character to life.”

We are proud to be creating new homes for these characters – where guests can live their own adventures alongside fan-favorite Super Heroes.
