But why would you want to do that? To buy Mikes in bulk, hold on to them, and then resell them later at a premium?? Yikes...

It is extremely hard to do. Getting a JB account is much tougher than gettting a Nike account (which is really tough). Most Mom and Pop stores do team sales and thats the best way to qualify for a Nike account. Then you have a better chance of getting the Nike Clothing line and Shoe line. After that, if you are successful you may have a chance to get a JB account. And that will most likely be the JUmpman regular release shows that don't move. I know this because I have been in the business for years and watched different established stores get denied from NIke. Gotta have the bread and clients.
