all the variations of this saying

about how if you truly wanted it youll get it

it kind of gets me through dark moments in my life and i just keep hoping for my break and i feel this is so universal as it can apply to all aspects of life from love to financial matters to just living your dream

it has worked for me at times and while also failing to occur for others but i just keep trying and hoping

what do you guys think?

too early for that deep **** *****, lemme get my coffee first

No. It sounds good but its not a logical phrase for obvious reasons.

i mean i think if you really wanted something and took steps for it logically it should happen right?

if you show up to work everyday and bust your *** off youll be on your way to a promotion meaning more money

but nowadays people just think they can sit at home and browse tmz all day and become rich instead of looking for a job to grind it out

or kids nowadays want to be a "rapper" yet all they do is instagram pics of their food instead of taking the steps and getting into a studio recording some material and promoting

but according to them they are a "rapper" when they do nothing towards achieving their goal

im sure the "rapper" that actually dedicates his time to writing verses looking for solid production and doing his work has a far higher chance of "making it" than the "rapper" who does nothing but play COD all day

I think it's true for the most part, as long as your goal is something that is physically possible. You can't REALLY want to fly like Superman and do it...not the case. But life is really just about trade-offs. If you REALLY want to become a particle physicist or professional athlete or something along those lines, I think it's possible for many people. The fact is that life is so structured that there are many times where socially-mandatory things such as school get in the way of, say, your basketball training. Realistically, you definitely shouldn't drop out of school to devote all of your time to trying to become a basketball star, but if you REALLY wanted to achieve that dream then I think that would be a huge assistance. Perhaps rather than excuses getting in the way, it's uncertainty mixed with managed expectations.

nah not true at all
but the way its set up i could be like i cant be the king of england because i wasn't born into the family and the reason could be an excuse

not true. sometimes what you want depends on others, and you don't have any control over others.

but this is true enough to generalize just don't accept it as a universal law.

TRUE.

let me break it down!

1. "If you want something bad enough you will find a way" - you will find a way if that something is really and achievable goal!

2. "if you don't. you will find an excuse" - if the goal is unachievable, you will always fall back to that excuse.

TRUE.
