A chicken salad is mixed in with veggies, flavors and spices, and most places roast the chicken.

 

Add a lil hot sauce you good to go

 

I've boiled chicken for chicken and dumplings. Boil it in chicken broth and add a lot of seasoning, **** is a hitter.

Cooking the chicken then adding it to the dumplings is a lot faster though.

 

if you boil it in a seasoned broth i dont see the issue.
