Do you think roided up bodybuilders can fight?

Threads like this are cool because based of off your own experiences, you can see where people are at or have been on a given subject. For the dude that brought up Jim Brown and Ali, they would be in the same weight class so terrible example. Ali is also 6'3 to Jim Brown's 6'2. What were you trying to show there?

And look where Jim Brown's psyche was at. He thought he could take arguably the greatest boxer EVER in a BOXING MATCH yet alone to speak of a street fight. Of course he was wrong, but Ali is the same size or bigger than Brown. What do you think he would have thought of a welterweight? Come on people.

Do you guys realize that Lebron's fiance might outweigh Floyd? Why do you think they use the word pound-for-pound?

Gloves are to protect the boxer's hands more so than anything. And one guy used an example of how women with the adrenaline are able to fight off bigger people, so Floyd with the adrenaline would get Bron off of him if Bron was able to grab him. My question now becomes, where is Bron's adrenaline or is he excluded from adrenaline induced powers?

exactly

these dudes are acting like mayweather is a super saiyan or something

you can win/lose a boxing match 5 seconds after the match starts

I mean, can someone confirm he's not?

Bron would totally win.

This reminds me of the late 90s when Dennis Rodman challenged Mike Tyson to a boxing match.

Tyson refused and straight up said Rodman could take him due to his much longer reach.

^ We still on this. Wilt is no where near the specimen Bron is. Not to mention Ali is heavy weight, money welter.

- Strength and power

Wilt's bench press was reportedly almost up to 500 pounds, in high school he also did shot put where he was throwing 53 feet.
Chamberlain stood tall at 7'1'' without shoes, and was 275 lbs at the beginning of his career, reaching more than 300 lbs. He had a standing reach of 9'7'' and a wingspan of around 7'9".
Always known to be a really big strong guy, critics tried to put him down stating he could only dominate due to his size, he took that to heart and always tried to show and also improve his skill.
There are countless reports about his unbelievable strength by players and experts but they also say he tried to be a nice guy and never went all out because he didn't want to hurt anyone, you can see it clearly that most of the time he used to hold back when playing.

- Stamina

In his career Wilt played 45.8 minutes per game in the regular season and 47.2 in the Playoffs, that alone proves he had all the stamina in the world. Plenty of times he went to games or practices without sleeping. This was a guy that never seemed tired and played with injuries in his final years.

- Speed

Wilt ran track and field in high school where he ran the 440 yards in 49.0 seconds and the 880 yards in 1:58.3. He could easily outran most guards on the fastbreak and used his speed in many ways on the basketball court.

- Agility and quickness

Despite being over 7 feet and over 260 lbs, Wilt had agility like no other, he had total control of his massive body and he displayed that countless times on the court. He was a center moving around like a guard and always demonstrated unbelievable quickness and cat-like reflexes.

- Jumping ability

Reportedly, Wilt had a vertical leap higher than 40'', that's as high as players like Michael Jordan. In high school he high jumped 6'6'' and broad jumped 22 feet. This was a really big guy with tremendous hops which gave him just a great advantage playing basketball.

Also keep in mind that Wilt had no access to modern privileges such as supplements, techniques, training methods, conditioning, equipment, medicine, other luxuries, and so on... Few players after him can say they were even close to Wilt's athleticism though, that makes it even more impressive.

LeBron is the Wilt of this era, not the other way around.

Okay...ali was heavyweight while money is welter? LeBron is 6'8, wilt was over 7...Use logic.

You don't know **** about basketball nor boxing.

Don't speak upon things you have no idea about, you will look like a gotdamn fool.

I don't feel so bad anymore. Thats me every time.

Damn Ali swag is too much :pimp: lol

Btw anyone who thinks an nba player is beating a boxing champion is wylin.
And Lebron is a specimen but the nba had never seen an athlete like wilt before. And Ali would wash wilt just like may would wash bron.

Where did this thread come from?

But yeah, Wilt was a physical specimen. Peep the footage online of him playing in the NCAA tourney. Dude had soft hands and ran like a gazelle.
